 Brooke Slade - Classroom Assistant

brooke sladeHi! I’m Brooke and I am the Evening Care Coordinator here at ASUU Childcare. One of my favorite parts of what I do is working closely with and running campus-wide programs such as Parent Night Out, Team Tots, and Drop-in-care. I absolutely love Team Tots because I believe that teaching and helping kids to be physically active and healthy is extremely important. It’s been so fun to develop and improve the Drop-in Care and Parent Night Out programs – all of these additional programs (as well as our center) are such an awesome resource for student families and I’m thrilled that I get to be a part of them! These programs give me the chance to get to know so many more children and families than I’d be able to otherwise. My passion is working with families, and for this reason I’ve chosen to study psychology and planning on continuing my education to become a child psychologist. I’ve worked here for over three years and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be!
